Patience provided extraordinary care to my husband on the day of his surgery. From the moment she came on duty, she was patient, kind, and truly genuinely attentive to his needs. Before surgery, she took the time to ease his anxiety and fears. Never rushing him and always listening with compassion. Her calm presence and reassuring words made a stressful situation feel manageable and safe.

Throughout the day, she was consistently making sure he was comfortable and well cared for. After surgery, she checked on him many times and made certain he felt supported. At no time did she make us feel we were just another task on a busy schedule. Patience treated my husband with dignity and warm, sincere care. My husband, like so many veterans, sees showing pain and fear as a weakness, and Patience made him feel OK not to be OK. She truly showed compassion and a deep compassion to her patients. We are incredibly grateful for the care she provided and the difference she made during such a big day.
