Jennifer, on the 2nd floor ICU, has gone above and beyond for us during my husband’s stay. Besides his heart and kidney issues, he also had C. diff. It was absolutely demoralizing for him to have to be cleaned up every time he had a bowel movement. Because he had the swan device in his neck, as well as being so weak, he couldn't get up. He had to go in the bed. Over and over and over.

I watched this kind, sweet woman clean him up three times, back to back. As soon as she finished, he went again. He was literally crying from being so embarrassed and humiliated, but she never showed one ounce of aggravation or irritation. She told him it was fine, and she cleaned him up again. Kindness and compassion for other people like that is a rare gift.

She deserves to be celebrated! We need more people like her. We will never forget her and will be eternally grateful for her. She is an angel on this earth.
