I found the nursing teams on Russell Ward, during the short duration my father was there, to be very professional and caring. Because of my father’s needs, I was there most of the time during visiting hours. One nurse stood out above the rest; that nurse was Libi. She was particularly attentive and put a tremendous amount of effort into sorting out the medication my father should have been on.

There was a mismatch between what the hospital thought he was on and his correct current medication, and to complicate things, it was a Bank Holiday weekend. Despite the ward being very busy, Libi took time to listen to my concerns, studied the packaging and doses of my father’s current medication, and spent a great deal of time trying to get the duty doctor to visit my father and correct the medication. We never saw the doctor, but eventually, through Libi’s persistence, the medication got sorted.

Nothing was too much trouble, and she was completely unfazed whilst helping us and also dealing with a couple of troubled patients all at the same time. A first-class nurse, an absolute asset to the team. Thank you very much.
