Enoch is a tremendous partner to the abdominal transplant program. We work closely with surgical services, and Enoch is our "point person" for any questions or concerns that arise. He is respectful to all team members and continues to provide expertise in the care of the transplant patient. He is proactive on patient safety issues and has demonstrated leadership in the move to Epic to ensure the EMR is correct and supports regulatory requirements for the transplant patient.

Enoch retrospectively updated all transplant recipient records with "organ arrival time" in Epic. This was tedious work, but it is a UNOS requirement. He provides staff education when a variance or non-compliance issue arises to prevent recurrence. He has written an extensive guide for OR staff to use as a reference for transplant surgeries. He has proactively researched concerns involving the packaging, handling, and storage of vessels to improve patient safety while keeping the transplant program compliant with UNOS and CMS regulations.
