A grateful patient recently nominated Rin for this honor, stating, “Rin went above and beyond, stepping in immediately when I needed a nurse because of extreme pain. She came to the rescue and made me feel like part of a team dedicated to doing everything possible to help me through a very difficult situation. Even with her own patients to care for, she found time to relieve my pain and reminded me that nursing is a team effort: helping patients in need, even when they’re not assigned to you.
