Barbara was an exceptional nurse. She had a kind and warm attitude. She gave information to help us know what to expect before surgery and what to do after surgery. She gave suggestions on what to ask the surgeon to guide us.

She was not overbearing in her attitude. She was loving with my child. She encouraged him to walk and drink fluids and joked with him. She gave him a toy and a game that he really enjoyed. I overheard her conversations with her colleagues, and she was helpful with them as well.

She remembered that I had two other kids at home and asked about them the next day. I missed her presence on the third day of hospitalization since it was her day off.
