I went to the ER,  and I could not urinate! This nurse was kind, compassionate, and determined to cath me; however, it took nine attempts, and numerous sizes of caths. She never got frustrated or lacked kindness or patience, kept asking if it hurt, and if I was comfortable. She went far beyond the duties she was confronted with!

She made sure my wife and I understood what was being done and the complications that were occurring. She made sure we were going home with anything we might need and told us to call if we had further questions. We did have to call back, and she made herself available to us again with kindness, patience, and empathy.

I have experienced nurses who have done their jobs well; this was different, this was far beyond what I have ever experienced or felt as a patient. This person, Choua, loves her job as a nurse, and we could feel it!

We feel she deserves this recognition for the efforts she puts forth every day in her job, which is not always pleasant for her or her patients. Thank you for the opportunity to share the outstanding person you have in your organization!
