Being chronically ill for 7 years and in the hospital almost more than at home, I’ve encountered 100’s of nurses. Travis is the best nurse I’ve ever been blessed to meet and then have as my nurse. He goes above and beyond. If I don’t have a certain medical supply I need, he will run to his car and magically find one, or he will find something that will work temporarily until he can either go get one later that day or the next day. If something isn’t working, he will do a certain trick and explain how it works and why. Then there have been times when the same issue has occurred in a hospital ER. I will tell the nurse to try the trick he taught me, and it works, and the nurses will be amazed and ask how I know that, and that they are going to use it the next time. He goes above and beyond for all his patients and me. He is what all nurses should be.
