Teena Johnny is truly the “go-to” person in 2 Kaplen on the night shift. With more than eighteen years of dedicated service, she continues to be our pillar and our lifeline on 2 Kaplen.  

She never brings her personal life into work, and no matter what is happening outside the hospital, she shows up fully present for her patients and her team.  She is consistently dependable, supportive, and always willing to step in wherever she is needed.

Her steady presence is especially invaluable to our Night Team, Nursing Supervisors, and Managers, who rely on her calm leadership, strong clinical skills, and unwavering compassion.  She embodies what it means to be a nurse:  selfless, grounded, and wholeheartedly committed to exceptional care.

For these reasons and so many more, I strongly believe she deserves to be recognized and nominated for the DAISY Award.
