Six months ago, I came to a routine appointment. Denise took one look at me, and she knew something was wrong. She asked me a routine question, and I began to cry. I could not stop crying because of things going on in my life.

Without hesitation, Denise not only got my provider but also found a counselor available to talk to me before I left the clinic. As a result of Denise’s actions that day, I am currently getting the therapy that I need. Without her intervention that day, I am positive I would not be currently receiving the mental health counseling I have needed for years.

When I saw Denise today, I thanked her for not only going above and beyond her duties but also being so caring and compassionate. In short, she saved my life!
