A young patient from another country, alone in Lake George, was admitted to the hospital and needed extensive testing and surgery. Kirsten made sure the patient received the best possible care while navigating healthcare in a foreign country.

Kirsten worked with patient experience to obtain international medical records, met the patient at the hospital for the admission process, and remained in close contact after surgery and discharge. She then stayed late when the patient was due in for a follow-up.

Kirsten is an exceptional nurse who took her compassionate care to the next level for this patient. She is an inspiration, and I am proud to work beside her.
