Brittany went far beyond expectations in her role. She supported my care in ways that truly mattered—by keeping me calm, informed, and smiling when I least expected to be.
From the moment I met Brittany in pre-op through my recovery, she somehow managed to turn a very nerve-wracking surgery day into an experience that felt calm, reassuring, and—against all odds—pleasant.
She treated me with genuine respect, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable and informed instead of overwhelmed. Her professionalism and competence were obvious right away, which made it easy to relax and trust the process.
What truly made Brittany extraordinary was her compassion, joy, and perfectly timed humor. She had an uncanny ability to sense my anxiety before I even said a word and respond with reassurance that actually worked. She didn’t just tolerate my sarcasm—she fully participated in it, which instantly put me at ease and made a stressful situation feel human instead of clinical.
She also made such an impression that I remembered her name—something I rarely do—which says a lot about the impact she had on me.
The highlight was waking up in recovery and realizing Brittany was there again. Even through the anesthesia fog, I remember feeling immediate relief and thinking, “Thank God it’s her, I’m still alive.” That moment perfectly captures the trust and comfort she creates for her patients.

Just like a bee supports the daisy, Brittany’s presence and dedication helped the entire care experience thrive.
She is extraordinary every day and absolutely deserving of this DAISY Award.
