I'd like to recognize Kayla for the exceptional commitment and advocacy in caring for our Veterans and their families. An example was today, when she was caring for a Veteran whose wife is also a Veteran and in need of additional support.

Kayla recognized the wife's needs and, without hesitation, went out of her way to try to coordinate home health services for her as well. She consistently demonstrates true advocacy by focusing on what is best for the Veteran and their loved ones, ensuring they feel supported, heard, and respected.

She embodies the VA mission through her compassion, dedication, and willingness to go above and beyond - not only for her patients, but also for her co-workers.
