We would like to nominate Katie for the DAISY Award for the exceptional care she provided to our 13-year-old son during his outpatient knee surgery. From the moment we arrived, Katie brought a sense of calm and reassurance that eased a stressful situation. She quickly connected with our son, helping him feel safe, understood, and at ease. Katie was compassionate, attentive, and proactive throughout our experience. She kept us informed, ensured our son was comfortable, and answered all our questions with patience and clarity. We never felt rushed, only genuinely cared for. What stood out most was how she treated our son as a person, not just a patient. Because of Katie, what could have been a scary experience became one where we all felt supported. We are also incredibly grateful to have access to such high-quality care so close to home.
