I came in through the ER with extreme pain and nausea, and it was very scary. I was transferred to the observation unit. Greg was extremely attentive and reassuring during my stay. He kept me apprised of my care pathway and stayed on top of my care needs to ensure that I didn’t fall when getting up, along with ensuring that I stayed comfortable.
He also made sure that my dietary goals and needs were attended to and that I got the items that would help me in the journey to be discharged home. Greg was very caring and exhibited care for the entire patient. I was so nervous, and he talked to me on a personal level and eased my anxiety.
Greg was the most caring nurse I encountered through two back-to-back ER visits and two observation admits. I would love to see Greg recognized for his constant care and devotion to care and recovery. My family and I are grateful to Greg for his care during my recent stay in his unit.

I was conducting chart reviews and noticed that all of Greg's charts had clear, easy-to-follow progress notes in a template format that I hadn't seen before. I assumed that the obs unit had created a new template for bedside nurses, but Greg informed me that it was a template of his own making. The notes follow SBAR guidelines and make it extremely easy to follow after him. I think this extra step deserves recognition and appreciation.

Greg was distinctive for his combination of thoughtfulness, caring, and professionalism. When I needed something, he came promptly, did it thoroughly, and also filled needs I didn't even recognize I had, such as bringing in an extra chair for a guest or organizing the medications I was accumulating.
He was thoughtful and intelligent in discussing my symptoms with me, bringing some stability to a very scary time for me, as I was having complications from my first round of chemotherapy.

Best Professional Nurse I have ever met, observed, and encountered. I have been working in the healthcare services for the last 20 years. As a critical and risk case manager, a CEO for a mental health rehabilitation in DC, and recently in the quality services and audit department.
My spouse had a cardiac scare over the weekend, and we were routed to Luminis Medical Centre in Anne Arundel, Annapolis branch, by the emergency services. For the most part, all the staff members were incredibly accommodating, polite, and caring. But Greg, the RN, takes the top spot. He was extraordinarily compassionate, highly professional, and connected with both the patient, my husband, and me, the family. HE ROCKS!
