My dad was in the hospital twice in a week. We were having difficulty controlling his pain, and after a rapid response was called for, Brea Williams came and immediately helped me feel more comfortable. As a staff member, it is very hard to be on the other side of it all. Brea was there for my family and me for days. She was kind, sympathetic, and willing to go above and beyond to help them. I know she did extra work to give my dad better care, including even helping to give him medications. I will forever be grateful to Brea for how much she helped not just my dad, but the rest of my family, during that week. I have worked with Brea for years, and I know what an amazing ANM she is, but during this time, I got to see what an amazing floor nurse she is as well. Brea never made me feel like I was being a bother, even though I knew I was adding additional work to her day. I cannot thank her enough for everything she did. My dad is much better, and I have no doubt Brea was a huge part of that.
