Many outstanding comments about the thoughtful, patient-centered care that Jon provides. The patient was admitted after a suspected blood clot was seen at her facility following a TKA. Upon admission, multiple needs were found. The patient described Jon as providing proactive care. He recalled all the medication and reviewed all the patient's information with her family. The patient stated that Jon was gentle in moving her in bed and explained everything that he was going to do before he acted. The patient needed to be cleaned frequently, and Jon was timely and efficient in providing compassionate care. Jon was skilled and gentle when he placed the IV.

When working with Jon, he is knowledgeable about his patients. He is willing to do what is needed to ensure his patients not only get the care they need, but also that he will proactively help to give patients optimal care.

Jon is helpful in coordinating treatment sessions with therapy. He got the patient up to the chair with a Hoyer lift before therapy arrived. Jon was willing to help with lines and assist the OT. Jon agreed to mobilize the patient under the direction of the OT for the patient to best meet his goals.

Jon is frequently observed mobilizing patients throughout the ICU to improve respiratory status, help patients' orientation, improve strength, and increase endurance. He is an excellent advocate for his patients.
