Since joining the RCH team in 2022, Dolores Holguin has quickly made a meaningful impact. She is consistently recognized by both staff and patients for her kindness and her ability to make those in her care feel supported, valued, and respected.

Dolores goes above and beyond to make a difference in her patients’ lives. Each Christmas, she creates a special experience by organizing a gift cart filled with blankets, snacks, and small gifts. She thoughtfully decorates the cart, dresses up, and visits each room to ensure every patient feels remembered and cared for during the holiday season.

This past Christmas, with support from the D3 team, Dolores expanded her efforts to include patients on S3 and 3 East as well. True to her character, she would never seek recognition for herself—her impact was shared by Monique Hernandez, who highlighted how meaningful this gesture was for their patients.

Dolores consistently takes the time to connect with patients on a deeper level—listening, offering comfort, and even praying with them. Her compassion and dedication leave a lasting impression and exemplify what it means to provide truly heartfelt, patient-centered care.
