In her short time with ESNH, Emily has made a tremendous impact on both the department and the community we serve. In her role as Senior Community Health Nurse in HHS, she consistently goes above and beyond to build and lead a successful nursing team providing in-home care.

From collaborating internally and externally to streamline services, to routinely checking in on clients who may be temporarily hospitalized, to advocating for individuals in difficult and complex situations, Emily approaches it all with a genuine smile and unwavering kindness.

Even during a recent situation that resulted in a police investigation, Emily never wavered in her commitment to doing what was right. During a client visit, she became aware that the individual was being assaulted by their landlord. Emily took immediate and decisive action, coordinating with law enforcement, internal leadership, and external resources.

Through her advocacy, she helped bring the situation to light and supported the client in securing a safer living environment. The client expressed immense gratitude, sharing that they feel safe for the first time in a long while and are incredibly thankful to have Emily in their corner.

While these examples highlight just a portion of Emily’s impact, there are countless other actions, both big and small, that demonstrate her dedication and compassion. Emily’s leadership, integrity, and kindness are truly contagious, creating a positive and lasting influence on her team and everyone she serves.
