Nicole has been a CAP RN for Chelsea Hospital for many years, and when I heard she was going to be an educator for Surgery, I knew we needed to hold on tight. She didn't disappoint.

The newly hired surgical colleagues previously followed the inpatient nursing orientation before her role change, but now she has created a new orientation program and simulation space for current staff and new colleagues.

The program includes clinical training and simulation, fire safety, patient positioning, proper aseptic techniques, patient privacy regulations, compliance education, and more. We meet once a month to ensure we are covering all education and training needs.

Nicole is self-driven and an exceptional role model of education. We are so very honored to have her in this role.
