While every birth carries its own set of anxieties, Kayla’s presence transformed a tense environment into one where I felt entirely safe and supported. Throughout the labor, we encountered several moments where my baby’s heart rate began to decelerate. In those instances, the room's atmosphere could have easily shifted toward panic, but Kayla was the stabilizing force we needed. She moved with a sense of urgency and precision, yet her demeanor remained incredibly calm. She never once appeared "freaked out," which was instrumental in keeping my own fears at bay.

What stood out most was her ability to balance clinical leadership with genuine compassion. I watched as she confidently educated other staff members in the room, leading the experience with a clear expertise that made it obvious I was in the best possible hands. She didn't just manage the medical complications; she managed the emotional weight of the situation for my family and me. Because of Kayla, I felt confident that everything would be okay for both my baby and me. She turned a frightening situation into a focused, well-led, and ultimately successful delivery.
