They consistently went above and beyond, offering encouragement and dignity to those who needed it most.
Station 35 has been my home for about a month. We were transferred from the East Wing. I would like to share my final commendation.
Over this past month, I’ve been both an observer and a quiet presence in their halls. As strangers at first, I gradually got to know the team, especially the RNs and CCPs who cared for us. Even those not directly assigned became familiar faces and steady sources of comfort.
I witnessed their teamwork through daily challenges, including difficult patients and demanding families. This team operates like a well-oiled engine, always in sync, driven by compassion, dedication, and a shared purpose to bring comfort and hope. I saw them manage difficult situations with strength and compassion, even in the face of harsh words or challenging behaviors. They consistently went above and beyond, offering encouragement and dignity to those who needed it most.
Although we spent time in the East Wing, it was Station 35 that truly felt like home. This culture of teamwork reflects strong, visible leadership. I saw the unit manager actively involved, supporting staff, helping patients, and leading by example. The respect and admiration from all team members speak volumes.
Thank you to every nurse who cared for me, explained my care, and supported me during my stay. And thank you to John for leading one of the best hospital teams I have had the privilege to experience.
Thank you, Station 35.
