Professor Finken is special to me because she goes beyond simply teaching skills. She truly invests in her students and their growth as future nurses.

During my pediatric clinical, she consistently created a supportive learning environment where I felt comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving. She took the time to explain not just what to do in patient care, but why it matters, especially when caring for children and their families.

Her patience, encouragement, and confidence in my abilities helped me build both my clinical knowledge and my self-confidence. Because of her guidance, I feel more prepared to provide compassionate, safe care to pediatric patients as I continue my journey toward becoming a registered nurse.
