Kayla was the nurse on the day I delivered my second child and the day after. During my water birth, Kayla was right there alongside my doula and husband, giving me affirmations, rubbing my arm, and cheering me through the toughest times of the delivery. I felt so loved and encouraged in those moments. Once my baby was born, Kayla was there to clean me up, check on me, all the normal things, which is amazing, but what she did next was above and beyond and changed my life forever. With my first, I struggled to breastfeed. I never really figured it out, and it caused me a lot of stress. I was really hoping for a different outcome this time around, and having Kayla as a nurse was exactly what I needed! She came in every time I fed and made adjustments, gave me feedback, and helped me figure it out. She was so knowledgeable and supportive, and she didn't let me give up, which I'm so thankful for! Now one week postpartum, I'm successfully breastfeeding, my baby is above birth weight, and I don't stress every time it gets close to feeding time! It's been a completely different experience, and it's because of Kayla. I am so grateful! This truly is an answer to prayer. Thank you so much.
