I would like to nominate NP Santos for a DAISY Award in recognition of the extraordinary care she provides to her patients. Again and again, patients describe her as kind, thorough, calming, knowledgeable, and deeply compassionate. What stands out most is the way she makes people feel safe and cared for, especially during stressful or uncomfortable moments.
One patient shared that she has “a wonderful way of making you feel relaxed and comfortable during the injection procedure” and said, “I never felt a thing.” Another wrote, “There is no one like her… I don’t know if I’d receive the same care if she weren’t there.” That kind of trust speaks volumes about the experience she creates for the people in her care.
