Krystal was my nurse for over a year while my husband and I were navigating infertility and trying to grow our family. Throughout that journey, she consistently showed compassion, attentiveness, and genuine care that went far beyond her job description. She was always responsive, reassuring, and someone I knew I could rely on during an incredibly emotional time.

One moment stands out so vividly that I think about it almost every day. I was scheduled for an HSG procedure, which was something I was extremely anxious about. Krystal showed up alongside my doctor, even though she didn't need to be there. As the procedure began and the pain became overwhelming, she held my hand the entire time. When the radiologist told her she needed to step away, she simply said, “Put a vest on me, I’m not leaving her.” She stayed right by my side, holding my hand and talking me through every second so I didn’t feel scared or alone. She chose to be there, and that choice made all the difference.

Even outside of procedures, Krystal’s kindness never wavered. Every time I passed her in the OB/GYN office, she would stop to say hello, check on me, and make me feel seen. When we finally found out we were expecting, the joy she expressed for us felt so genuine and heartfelt. It was like sharing the news with a friend who had been rooting for us all along.

Krystal’s compassion truly changed my experience during one of the hardest seasons of my life. If there were more nurses like her in the world, the world would be a better, kinder place. She is the perfect example of what exceptional nursing looks like, and she deserves to be recognized for the incredible impact she has on her patients.
