During an unimaginably painful moment, a baby passed away. Overcome with fear and heartbreak, the family was unable to hold as this precious baby took its last breath.

Shannon and Sydney stepped in, not only as nurses but as human beings full of grace and empathy. They gently held that baby, spoke soft words, and ensured the child passed away in the arms of someone who deeply cared.

Not only did they perform their duty, but they honored that precious baby’s life with love and presence when the family could not. Their strength and kindness in that moment gave the baby and family a measure of peace. Words cannot express the sacred work these two nurses have done.
