She cared for more than just her patient; her kindness brought light into one of our hardest moments.
My son was having a particularly difficult day. He wasn’t feeling well at all and would not let me put him down. He only wanted to be held and rocked; I rocked him for hours without sitting down.

Bryanah came into the room, immediately noticing how exhausted I was. Without hesitation, she gently offered to hold my son so I could step away and get something to eat. It may sound like a small gesture, but in that moment, it meant everything.

When I returned with my food, I found her still holding him, rocking him calmly and patiently. She didn’t rush to hand him back. Instead, she encouraged me to sit down and eat and told me not to rush because she “had him.”

That simple reassurance allowed me to take a breath and take care of myself, knowing my son was safe and comforted.  She cared for more than just her patient; her kindness brought light into one of our hardest moments. Her compassion, attentiveness, and willingness to step in exemplify what nursing is truly about.
