From the moment Katrina entered our room, she brought a sense of calm, compassion, and confidence that stayed with us throughout the entire birth experience. During the throes of labor, when I was exhausted and scared, she was endlessly patient and encouraging. She spoke to me with such kindness and reassurance that I truly felt supported every step of the way. Her gentle coaching, steady presence, and belief in me helped me push through some of the hardest moments.

She made me feel completely comfortable at a time when I was incredibly vulnerable. Childbirth strips away so much control, but she helped me feel seen, respected, and safe in my own body. She always explained what was happening, checked in with me emotionally as well as physically, and ensured that my voice and preferences mattered.

Most importantly, she made both me and my partner feel genuinely safe. Her knowledge and confidence were unmistakable, but it was the warmth behind her care that made the biggest impact. We trusted her fully, and that trust allowed us to focus on welcoming our baby rather than worrying about what might happen next.

Her presence turned a challenging experience into one filled with strength, security, and compassion. We are deeply grateful for her, and she will forever be a part of our baby's birth story. She is everything a nurse should be, and more."
