Pam was special. She was in tune with what my mother's needs were! She was always aware that my mother could only use one hand since her stroke and took note of things she needed help doing.

At mealtimes, she came in, cut her food, and helped her get started. She showed love in such a quiet, reassuring way. She would bend down and look my mother in the eye. She was gentle and kind. My mother said she loved seeing her come through the door in the morning. She checked on her frequently about going to the bathroom.

We knew it would be a good day if Pam was there. I am so grateful for the care she received and would love to honor her in this way!
