Throughout the entire shift, she never made me feel I was a burden, nor did she come across as not having enough time or that I was taking too much of her time.

During shift change report, they came inside my room. Shaina smile was reassuring that I was going to be in good hands. Shaina introduced herself to me while informing me that she was going to take good care of me.

Each time Shaina came into my room, before leaving, she would never fail to ask me if I needed anything. Shaina held true to her word that she would take good care of me. I was very impressed that she would sit on the stool while talking and asking questions. It was more comfortable than towering over me. I had never had that happen before. I truly appreciated it.

Shaina explained each med as she scanned them. She never failed to ask if I had any questions. One of “our” goals was to keep my pain level down. Shaina maintained professionalism at all times, but yet made me feel that if I shared something very personal, they would keep listening without judgment.

Shaina's entire care was more than good quality nursing care. Throughout the entire shift, she never made me feel I was a burden, nor did she come across as not having enough time or that I was taking too much of her time.

I truly hope she is my nurse should she be working again during my stay. I would trust her nursing skills to provide care for my family.
