I watched Alicia care for many people in the ER. There was a full ER and waiting room, and she shuffled the chaos with grace. My husband was getting transferred to another facility, and we were waiting on EMS, and I saw her going in and out of rooms quickly and efficiently.

 She did not get overwhelmed and treated everyone as if they were family to her. When coming to this ER, this has never been my experience, and I am proud to have someone in our hometown ER who has such grace and really cares for each and every patient, not just a select few.

Alicia took the time with my husband, placed an ultrasound IV, and explained every step of the way when we were very concerned and scared. She eased this for my family. She went above and beyond not just her job on the medical side, she provided me with a charger for my phone, checked to make sure I understood everything, and updated our kids when they called.

I know she was busy, but she took the extra time, and she didn’t have to.
