Sandy was always positive and very easy to talk to, but the most amazing thing to me was that there were no limits to the care she provided.
Sandy, I have to say, for a wound care Nurse, she goes above and beyond her job duties! First of all, she’s very kind, extremely kind. Second, she’s knowledgeable about her duties. I needed to know what to do for my husband's legs when we get home. I have had several strokes, and it’s hard for me to learn. She was more than patient with me, continually repeating without even a glitch in her personality, for taking the extra time with me. I don’t experience patience like this from most people because they are not willing to understand my condition. I am truly grateful to her for treating my husband while he has been in the hospital. Because of her, this will be our main hospital for our family's needs from now on. Thank you for employing people like her. She and people like her are what make a hospital great. She was wonderful, professional, knowledgeable, kind, patient, had a great spirit, and was happy. When you hired her, you did a great job! I hope you pattern your hiring practice with people like Sandy, who have personality types. According to my husband, everyone has been kind to him, so we agree that, because of Sandy, this is now our Hospital.

During my hospital stay, Sandy has taken care of my wounds at least 5 times. On every visit, Sandy would share what she was seeing with my wounds and explain what she was doing for treatment. Sandy was always positive and very easy to talk to, but the most amazing thing to me was that there were no limits to the care she provided. Her job was wound care, but Sandy would address any issue to make me more comfortable. She would adjust pillows or get a blanket, pour a drink into a glass, or do anything else that was needed. It’s clear that she sees her job as more than just wound care. She is a care provider in every sense of the word. She makes sure she gives her patients all the time they need. She’s never in a rush. When she finishes your care and leaves, you feel you received it. I always felt better after seeing Sandy. She is a very positive person.
