Ms. Mapson truly embodies the essence of what it means to be a nurse. From the very first time I met her, she has been a constant source of guidance, encouragement, and inspiration.

I began my journey working alongside her as a Patient Care Associate, and through her mentorship and unwavering support, I have grown into my current role as an Assistant Head Nurse within the department, a full-circle moment that speaks volumes about her impact.

She has not only been instrumental in my professional development, having even written my letter of recommendation for nursing school, but she continues to mentor and support me as I step into leadership.

Her dedication extends far beyond individual values in every interaction, whether with patients, families, or colleagues. She is selfless with her time, generous with her knowledge, and approaches every situation with patience, compassion, and professionalism.

She is often described as a mother figure to many, but more importantly, she is a model nurse, one who leads by example and elevates everyone around her .Her impact on both patient care and staff development is immeasurable.
