I have been extremely grateful to work alongside Nurse Johnson for the past 15 years. She is an extraordinarily dedicated and intelligent nurse who consistently provides compassionate care to all veterans she serves. Many veterans stop by her office weekly just to check in, a testament to the deep trust and connection she fosters with her patients. They always leave her room with a smile, feeling heard, valued, and respected.

One moment that particularly stands out is when a veteran was experiencing deep grief of losing his daughter. Nurse Johnson provided him with empathy and compassion, offering a listening ear and a calming presence during his difficult time. The veteran expressed his immense gratitude for her kindness, and it was clear that her support made a meaningful impact.

Cosette's care for her patients goes far beyond clinical experience. She treats every veteran with warmth, respect, and genuine kindness. She has an incredible ability to connect with people - whether it's a fellow nurse on the floor or a patient going through a difficult time. Her presence brings a calm to chaotic situations, and her attentiveness never waves, even on the most demanding days.
