Mrs. Langenkamp was very educational and helpful during the hospital clinical. She was always there to answer any questions I may of had. She is so down-to-earth and always so supportive. I have never felt more comfortable during clinical or scared to “mess up.” I would like to nominate Mrs. Langenkamp for the DAISY Nurse Educator Award because she truly made a lasting impact on my learning experience and confidence as a nursing student. As our clinical instructor, she went above and beyond expectations. Not only did she guide us during our clinical days at the hospital, but she also took extra time to meet with students to help us understand difficult concepts and prepare for upcoming exams. Even after long, exhausting clinical days, she stayed after to meet with us and review material, showing her dedication and commitment to our success.

What made her stand out the most was how approachable and supportive she was. She always created a welcoming environment where students felt comfortable asking questions without fear of judgment. She consistently acknowledged us, greeted us, and made us feel seen and valued. Because of her, many classmates and I felt encouraged to reach out for help, something I had not felt comfortable doing before.

She has a unique ability to connect with her students, build trust, and foster a positive learning environment. She genuinely cares about our success, both academically and clinically, and it shows in the time and effort she puts into teaching. Her kindness, patience, and dedication have made a significant difference in my nursing journey, and I am truly grateful to have had her as an instructor.

She was so genuine in her approach to me as a student, very caring, went above and beyond to teach us even after class hours, she encouraged me when I was afraid i was not going to pass. All around, she is a wonderful teacher and human being. My whole life fell apart in the middle of this program, and as I am about to finish, her kindness to me is one piece of this that I will remember forever. Please send my thank you to her!

Mrs. Langenkamp was an excellent instructor. She was my nursing instructor for my Med Surg clinical in the third semester of the registered nursing program. She helped me grow and build confidence as a future registered nurse. I learned so much from her. She is patient and kind and has a great sense of humor. Thank you, Mrs. Langenkamp!
