Ja'Leah is an incredible student who goes above and beyond to care for every patient she encounters. She is hard-working, compassionate, and dedicated to being an exceptional student nurse. She works as a nurse tech at a hospital to support herself through nursing school, and despite the challenges of working while being a full-time student, she remains positive, encouraging to others, and always has a smile on her face. This student represents herself and our university with pride, and I can't say enough about how deserving she is of this recognition. I have seen her confidence grow over the last year and have enjoyed seeing her flourish as a Junior. The sky's the limit for this student! She gives back to her colleagues and community without hesitation and is the definition of a team player. She is a wonderful human being and student!
