I strongly believe Kikelomo exemplifies this through her advocacy for staff, empathy, and dedication to fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence. Working under Kikelomo’s leadership has made a profound difference in both my professional development and the quality of care we provide to our patients.

She held me to high expectations because she believed in me. At the time, I didn’t always understand why she pushed me so hard, but now I see she was preparing me for growth. She consistently encouraged me and took the time to recognize my strengths—something no one had done before. Because of Kikelomo, I considered and pursued the ANM role after 22 years on Tower 8. Her belief in me truly changed my path.

She not only recognized my strengths but also actively helped me build upon them while supporting my professional growth. Even when I declined opportunities, she continued to encourage me, pushing me beyond my comfort zone and helping me see my own potential.

Also, her willingness to listen and grow is something I respected about her. Whenever I offered her advice, she was always open to receiving it and quick to put it into action. Today, I am truly grateful for her persistence and guidance.
