Our 90-year-old mother was a patient for 16 days. She went to Encompass after a hip surgery at Midland Memorial Hospital. Mom was very weak and we were concerned for her life. Zavana our nurse was a life saver, literally! Zavana was a God send who helped mom tremendously during her time at Encompass.

Zavana loved on mom and took time to see that mom's medical needs were addressed. Zavana always greeted us with open arms and a big smile when we (my wife and I) came to visit mom. One big result Zavana helped with was "helping mom to use the restroom on her own without a catheter and bag." She gave mom Flomax as prescribed and monitored her often.

Zavana's constant care and love was crucial in mom's healing. Mom is doing great now, and her recovery was a miracle.
