Ms. Kimberly Gonzales is always calm and good-natured when she brings him to us on his monthly visits.
Our grandson has been at the San Marcos Treatment Center for over 2 years now. He is not always an easy person to get along with, especially when asked to do something he doesn’t want to do.
Ms. Kimberly Gonzales is always calm and good-natured when she brings him to us on his monthly visits. Sometimes we know she has struggled making him get ready – brushing his teeth, getting out of pajamas, combing his hair, etc. Yet her attitude is always one of great efficiency. If they are delayed, she explains why without anger or even a critical tone, and he never seems to get mad at her in the way he has of condemning other people for getting in the way of his ideas.
Ms. Gonzales is always prompt to come to pick him up at the end of our visits. She chats enough to make us feel like she cares, but does not let him prolong the goodbyes or dictate terms.
She is helpful in answering our questions without breaking the rules of confidentiality, and she provides useful information regarding what he’s allowed to have or do. She also listens to us and responds to our concerns.
And on top of all her professional attitude, she is friendly as a person – sharing just enough personal information to have conversations and make visiting our grandson more than a ‘hand-off’ exchange.
I’d give her an A+.
