T was hospitalized with blood clots to his lungs. We were very nervous and afraid as this was a very serious thing to us! Abby was very understanding and caring. She answered our many questions about what was happening. T was in so much pain so she helped him as best as she could by getting what he needed as efficiently as she could. She knew we were very impatient as we were so afraid that something more serious might happen. He developed very serious pain in different areas so she was very concerned and checked with the Doctor as often as needed. She made him and me much more comfortable with the situation that we were in. We had no idea where these blood clots came from or the reason he got them, and she tried to explain it many different ways for us to understand.

Abby is a truly awesome nurse that goes above and beyond her call of duty. She spent much time when T was released to go over everything with us and again answered our many questions. She made us leave the hospital feeling very upbeat and secure in what lies ahead for T after being in such a serious condition when we arrived at the emergency room. She is a very special woman and indeed and a very special nurse to have at Aurora. You are very fortunate indeed to have her on your staff.
