A People Inc. nurse since 2006, Marilyn was recognized for her longstanding dedication, leadership, and compassionate approach to care. Her supervisor described Marilyn as an essential member of both the Delaware Programs team and the agency’s nursing department. Colleagues praise her as a stable, caring presence who approaches everyone with compassion and professionalism. Over the years, Marilyn has shared her extensive knowledge to help train direct support professionals and managers, while also stepping in wherever support is needed. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she provided direct care coverage when programs were closed and has continued to offer nursing support across multiple sites as needs arise.
