I am submitting this nomination in recognition of the exceptional care provided to my daughter, J, during our visit to Henry Ford Health, Brownstown. J is only 11 years old and had been brought in for severe dizziness, and the care we received made an immediate and meaningful difference during a very stressful moment.

From the moment this nurse entered the room, her compassion and professionalism were unmistakable. She spoke to J with kindness and patience, making sure she felt safe, informed, and understood. Her ability to comfort a frightened child who was not feeling well was truly remarkable. Despite the busy nature of the day and the increased patient load, she maintained a calm and reassuring presence. She took the time to explain what was happening, answer questions, and ensure that both J and I felt supported throughout the entire visit. She also demonstrated outstanding collaboration with the physicians and other members of the healthcare team.

Her communication was clear, her actions were efficient, and it was evident that she worked seamlessly with everyone involved. Because of her coordination and proactive approach, we were in and out in a very reasonable amount of time without ever feeling rushed or overlooked. Most importantly, she consistently went far above and beyond her responsibilities. She anticipated J’s needs, monitored her closely, and provided comfort and reassurance throughout the evaluation.

Her dedication to patient-centered care and her compassionate approach reflect the highest standards of nursing practice. For all of these reasons, I believe this extraordinary nurse is exceptionally deserving of recognition.
