I would like to nominate Jess for the care I received. I was in the operating room for a C-section, which ended with 2 eclamptic seizures. It was a terrifying experience. Even before the seizures, she kept me informed and at ease. I was disoriented from a terrible migraine and very nervous. During the setup phase, Jess kept up an easy conversation and, in the quiet moments, assured me that everything was going as planned.

After the seizures, Jess stayed past the end of her shift to take me swiftly to CT. She reassured me with her empathetic bedside manner, and I knew if anything went wrong, that she would take excellent care of me. Jess is calm under pressure and so kind to her patients and their families. If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t have any photos of the triplets in the OR, given everything that happened.

I am so grateful for all she did for my family and me.
