Leah was my nurse the night that I went into labor with my daughter at 35 weeks. I've had a previous preterm delivery and a baby in the NICU so I was very nervous about delivering at 35 weeks and the possibility of her having to go to the NICU. Leah was so sweet before, during, and after my delivery.

Once our daughter was born and they decided she did need to go to the NICU I told my husband to go with her while they finished my surgery. I was pretty upset and anxious. Leah came and sat next to me and held my hand and talked to me. She was busy and had other things to be doing but she took that moment to sit and comfort me and I was so grateful. She made sure after my delivery that my bleeding stayed under control and she worked to get me out of recovery and settled in a room so that I could go up and see my baby in the NICU.

Leah was my nurse on multiple nights of my stay, the first and second night were really tough between the amount of pain I was in and the emotional stress of not being able to be with my baby as much as I wanted but Leah was so kind and compassionate especially on those nights that I was really struggling. My husband and I are so grateful to have had her and we appreciated her so much.
