I would like to nominate Matt for their kind compassionate care of my stepdad, and entire family. I met Matt on the day that my stepdad died. I was greeted with a smile and a laugh, which was much needed that day. Even though my stepdad was in and out of consciousness that day, Matt took such good care to show respect and dignity to him. He greeted each of our family members as if they were his own. He took the time to explain what was happening as things began to change, and was patient with all our questions.

When it was time to transition and remove our stepdad from life support, Matt was so kind and gentle, explaining each step of the way. They advocated for my stepdad when needed and helped him transition in the most peaceful way. I found this nurse knowledgeable, trustworthy, reliable, kind and caring.
