She definitely wears her passion for the Veterans and her co-workers on her sleeve.
Kari came to the Venango CBOC in November 2024 as a rehire and took the place of a nurse who retired after 20 years of service.

With her starting her new role, it wasn't the easiest. It was a very hard six months of getting to know each other and understanding what was expected of everyone in the clinic. There were some very trying times.

To be honest, I didn't think our clinic was ever going to be the same, and I really did think we would have a divide forever.

After all was said and done, everyone came to a mutual agreement, and Kari never gave up. I feel that she knew in the back of her mind that, no matter how hard things became, she knew this clinic would operate again to the best of our abilities.

She has really grown in her role. She is becoming more and more of a leader who is understanding and takes everyone's opinions into consideration. She is becoming a very active listener. She is handling everything that comes her way head-on and is not afraid to ask for help.

Kari is becoming such a great leader for the clinic. I really have loved watching her grow in her role, and I know she will have great things come her way as she gets more experience under her belt.

She definitely wears her passion for the Veterans and her co-workers on her sleeve. I really do believe there is so much more that she will do, and she will shine!
