Rey is a bachelor's-prepared, wound-certified RN with over 30 years of experience.

He began his nursing career in the Philippines right out of college. He started working at Calvary Hospital in 2017 as a staff nurse on 5 South and soon after moved to 5 North, where he's been ever since.

He has always shown competence, caring, and compassion as he delivers care to patients and families, consistently providing care in a manner that goes above and beyond expectations, demonstrating positive team behaviors, and working well with and mentoring others.

Rey became the Clinical Care Coordinator in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. His leadership skills are exemplary, and he has a keen eye for helping new staff acclimate to their new role.

Rey has received numerous letters of appreciation over the years from patients and family members describing how his attentiveness, caring, and compassionate manner got them through a very difficult time.
