Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the special attention that you gave me during my stay at JFK.

I always felt that you were really looking after me with all the best that you could do. Thank you for making the meal run during my final hour in the ward. I don’t think that I have ever met anyone as caring as you, which I really appreciated. You made me feel comfortable with my many requests. Nothing was ever too much for you to do.

In the past ten years I’ve been in and out of the hospital for some scary situations. But none scarier than this time around. There has been one nurse in particular who has gone above and beyond in her care and out of her way to make me feel comfortable and to better understand my situation.

I’ve never heard of a person showing more compassion than Vanessa has shown me. She is amazing, and I don’t think I would have made it without her. I want to thank her for everything.
