Lisa has been a dedicated nurse to our pediatric patients for many years. She consistently advocates for her patients and the care they deserve, all while bringing a smile to their faces. She is known to us as our honorary cheerleader and lead singer during birthday celebrations. Lisa is the primary nurse for a family with two pediatric patients who come weekly for infusions. Both boys are blind and have several comorbidities that affect their daily lives. Their mother often speaks with gratitude about the pure joy Lisa brings to each visit, from singing and celebrating to storytelling and exceptional patient care. Lisa ensures that the boys are always treated with the utmost respect and dignity. Her love and compassion extend naturally to their sibling and mother, who accompany them at every visit.
